“Little Lights”
Experimental Immersive 360 film produced with the script writing and editing skills of Sam Stone as part of the Immersive Innovation scheme run by Screen Cornwall
The story was inspired by Clare Howdle – ‘Little Lights’, ‘Twelve Stories for Twelve Sections’ by Cornwall National Landscape, published by Hermitage Press Cornwall
The film was produced as a technical proof of concept for developing 360 immersive video based on low cost 360 cameras capturing environments, iPhone footage filmed out doors against a popup green screen, and volumetric assets captured as gaussian splats.
These assets were then layered together to develop a low-cost yet high-resolution and highly flexible solution, for generating 360 video content for headsets and immersive domes.
